February is National Heart Health Month. Here are some tips to help you
prevent heart disease.
1) Include
more fruits and vegetables in your diet.
2) Use
salt in moderation.
3) Keep
your BMI in check. Healthy levels range from 18-24.9.
4)
Exercise for thirty minutes a few times each week.
5) Stay
away from smoking, and if you do smoke, consider quitting.
6) Drink
alcohol in moderation.
7) If your
blood pressure is high, make sure you monitor it regularly.
