Recent studies have found that the components of the Mediterranean Diet have the best brain-boosting foods to keep aging brains young! Here are some tips to help increase your brain power:

·         Eat more vegetables. You don’t have to eat just raw vegetables, you can add vegetables like broccoli, cabbage and dark leafy greens to wraps, sandwiches or stir-fry. Kale is also a great food for brain function, try it today!

·         Add some berries to your cereal for a morning brain boost! Dark berries like blueberries, blackberries, and even cherries are your best choice. It does not matter if they are fresh, frozen or dried!

·         Eat more fish! Fatty fish such as salmon, Bluefin tuna, sardines, and herring contain an omega-3 fatty acid called docosahexaenoic acid or, for short, DHA. DHA is found in the brain so adding this to your diet will help the brain function more efficiently! Try these fish grilled, baked or broiled.
