Squats for Free Public Transportation?

Would you do thirty squats for a free subway ticket? Citizens of Russia will. Currently, Russian officials are offering a free subway travel ticket to anyone who can do thirty squats in the subway station.  Russian media states that the goal of this program is to help “promote fitness and sports”. The 2014 Winter Olympics are being held in Sochi, Russia. This program is being carried out by the Russian Olympic Committee and is expected to last one month. Overall, the Russian citizens seem to have a positive attitude about the program and are willing to do thirty squats to travel for free.
