Sneak Fruits and Veggies into Your Day


Breakfast:
Add veggies to eggs
Add fruit to your cereal
Make a fruit smoothie with yogurt, milk, and ice
Lunch:
Use lettuce instead of bread for a sandwich
Add pureed veggies to mac and cheese
Add veggies to a sandwich (shredded broccoli, cucumbers, etc.)
Dinner:
Double the amount of veggies in recipes
Use spinach in anything baked
Grate veggies into casseroles
By making these simple additions more fruits and veggies can be added to your daily diet!
