Healthy Snacking for Adults and Teens

Many of us enjoy snacking but, choosing a healthy and satisfying snack can be difficult. Here are a few tips to choosing a healthy snack and few options as well.
1.       Snack only when you are hungry.

2.       Keep portion control in mind. If it is a multiple serving pack take out one serving to avoid over eating.

3.       Plan snacks ahead of time.
Healthy Snack Options
1.       One tablespoon of peanut butter spread on a medium sliced apple

2.       One 4-ounce fat-free, ready-to-eat vanilla pudding with ½ cup fresh fruit and 5 vanilla wafers

3.       Fruit smoothie: Blend 1 cup fat-free milk, ½ cup frozen strawberries and ½ banana
