Coca-Cola Airing Ads Regarding Obesity
The number one soda company in the world decided to address the issue of obesity in its current commercials. Starting on Monday January 14th Coca-Cola aired the ads during the most popular CNN, FOX, and MSNBC news and television programs. The ads covered how obesity is a worldly issue caused by increased calorie consumption, not just soda. The commercials also cover soda’s impact on public health. Other commercials that will be debuting during American Idol and the Super Bowl include how to burn the 140 calories in the original Coca-Cola drink. The soda company has publicly spoken about their effort to speak out about this current problem and the measures they are taking to provide healthier options including more diet sodas in public places.
