  • The AU Student Dietetic Association (AUSDA) was formed and executive officers elected

  • Two editions of the Nutrition in the News Newsletter were completed and printed

  • 32 Public Service Announcements (PSA) were produced and recorded for the university radio station WRDL

  • A new AU Dietetics Program blog was created

  • Our AU homepage was improved and includes updates and links to various additions

  • Information related to our program is available via Twitter and Facebook

  • AU Dietetics Students were involved in a university sponsored Fitness and Wellness Day

  • Kidz Fit Intervention Program at the Ashland YMCA which involved children 8-12 years of age focusing on improving their health and fitness using nutrition education

It's difficult to believe that all of this could be completed in two semesters. It is amazing what can be accomplished when you have such talented, driven, and focused students.
We look forward to welcoming the incoming class of Fall 2011. Those entering ou program and Ashland University bring with them many skills, talents, and passions. It was an exciting first year..... with much, much, more to come. Stay tuned.
