Berries and Spinach Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients 

- 2 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries 

- ½ cup blueberries 

- 1 banana, peeled and cut in chunks 

- ½ kiwi, peeled and sliced 

- 2 cups fresh spinach 

- ½ cup ice cubes 

- 1 cup milk 

- ½ cup apple juice 

Directions 

1. Prep first: Wash any fresh produce you will be using, and be sure to wash your hands before getting started. 

2. Combine ingredients: Add the banana to the blender first (this helps with texture), then layer in the strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, spinach, ice cubes, milk, and apple juice. 

3. Blend: Blend until smooth, stopping to stir if needed to keep the mixture moving. 

4. Serve and enjoy: Pour into cups to serve immediately or freeze in an ice cube tray for smoothie cubes that are perfect for a fun, refreshing snack later!
