Cancer and Nutrition

Did you know that up to 30% of all cancers are linked to inadequate diet? October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and you can help reduce your risk for breast and other cancers through the power of food. Food can be used as a medicine to prevent and fight these diseases. Studies have found that following a low-fat diet is important because high-fat diets have been linked more often to aggressive forms of breast cancer. Including at least five fruits and vegetables per day into your diet can promote breast health.
