Foods That Create a Healthier Diet

The magazine, Today's Dietitian, gives a list of recommendations that will create a healthier diet.
1. Add food with plant sterols.

  • Lowers cholesterol if consumed daily

2. Eat whole grain and high fiber foods.

  • Sources include whole wheat, rye, barley, and corn

3. Choose olive oil over other fats.

  • Increases the body's good cholesterol (HDL)
