Incoming Dietetics Majors Arrive-Ready to Go

The new incoming dietetics students arrived to campus this past week to begin their exciting journey towards becoming a Registered Dietitian (R.D.). This fall's class included some of the brightest and best students from Ohio, as well as from the surrounding states of Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, and West Virginia. The AU Dietetics Program continues to grow in numbers, reputation, and most importantly in the quality and caliber of students. We are very pleased and excited to see the continued growth and expect to eventually attract students from other states as well as they learn about our program. The new students are already becoming involved in the Nutrition Newsletter, the AU Student Dietetic Association, and community nutrition intervention programs. We welcome all new and returning students to campus, and look forward to their contributions to the areas of dietetics and nutrition in the years to come. Exciting times to be involved in this field of study and Ashland University! To find out about this major and Ashland University, contact Dr. Vanata; dvanata@ashland.edu
