Having Chocolate, Wine and Berries may defend your Body against Type II Diabetes

Recent studies have found that consuming high levels of flavonoids, present in foods like berries, tea, chocolate and wine may help protect against Type II Diabetes. This is the most common form of diabetes and is caused by insulin resistance. Insulin resistance means that the body does not use insulin properly and can lead to abnormal blood glucose levels. Including chocolate, wine and berries to an already healthy diet can help prevent or reduce the risk of heart disease and Type II Diabetes. Chocolate and wine lovers may have health benefits linked to their moderate intake.
